Community Veterans Mental Health Service

Veterans who live in the catchment areas of the Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board & Cwm Taf NHS Trust (the old Rhondda and Cynon Taff and North Glamorgan NHS Trusts) are able to self-refer by telephoning 029 2074 2062, completing the submission form and submit or be referred by their GP or anyone else involved in their clinical care.

If you do not live within the catchment area then we are very happy to provide you with telephone advice or if required an assessment with a view to directing you to either NHS services within your area or to other agencies, including veterans agencies that can offer welfare, housing and financial assistance. We would also recommend you approach your local Veterans Agency via their website www.veterans-uk.info  or telephone them on 0800 169 2277, as they are staffed by caring and experienced people, who make it their business to understand and empathise with the serving and veterans’ community and are committed to delivering a high quality service.
